One-Week Experience for *High School Musicians

Spend a week making music with other talented high school musicians

The Truman State University Band Academy offers an immersive, one-week experience designed to help young musicians grow, perform, and connect—both on and off the stage.  All of that while working with current Truman Music Department Faculty and Student mentors.

Program Highlights:
  • Full ensemble rehearsals
  • Sectionals led by Truman University faculty
  • Elective classes in jazz, music theory, conducting, and more
  • A taste of campus life
  • Final concert performance to showcase your progress

*This academy is for students who are currently in 9th – 11th grades.
